The Burlington started changing the nose stripes in 1959-60. Not all units
were repainted and the black stripes were common through the sixties. Kato
did not make a red stripe version, but one could mask out the striping,
overspray with silver, and decal the red stripes using MicroScale decals.
Red stripe version was on a quick rerun candidate list but the first run did
not sell out, so red stripes are in the distant future.
