Welcome John,
If you haven't already, may I humbly suggest you consider joining the
Burlington Route Historical Society. You can find their web page at
<http://www.burlingtonroute.com>
For a mere $30 a year, you will receive a calendar, the society's news
publication, the Zephyr (usually twice) and the annual Burlington Bulletin,
a great book devoted to a single comprehensive look on a Q subject (the most
recent one concerns the Burlington's snow fighting equipment).
I think you will find the $30 amongst the best of your hobby expenditures!
Regards,
John Lewis

Hi everyone,
I've just joined the group. I am modeling Dubuque, Iowa, which is
near where I grew up. I now live in Toronto, Canada. I am researching
Dubuque to learn about the Q's movements there, and in east Dbq, and
am also looking for plans or information about the station the Q had
by the ice harbor. I have seen several pictures of it and visited it,
but I'd like more information on what it was like in the 60s. I look
forward to hearing from you, and reading posts on this forum.
Regards,
John Nelles
