In preparation for and to be able to post pictures to the website
showing the area for the rail fest I went down to the main line last
night. I was there for about 45 minutes and 4 huge trains went by. I
got lots of pictures and will be posting them up as soon as I get them
processed.
Things are progreesing well with the planning I posted to the website
last the links for vendors and railfans to pre-register, I need folks
to do this to get a idea of how many are coming. I also have added 2
other spots for railfanning one is north of the Cleburne Yards at
Boone Street Bridge so pictures and such can be taken as the trains
enter the yard. and One South of the Yards by the rodeo arena for
those wanting to be able to take rural background pictures.
There will be several things provided in off site area's so that there
is plenty to do for the whole family. If you are not interested in
attending the Dinner there will be a Ice Cream Social and Coffee Bar.
There will be entertainment at the FW&D cabooses Railroad Music. and
such.
At this point to make this a success I only need Vendors and
Participants. Pre-register today for CLEBURNE RAILFEST. (no fee for
