I believe that I had contacted you once before, I am a 78 year old
fellow that is starting to model the area and the CB&Q that I knew as a
young lad. I was born and raised in Westmont Ill. and lived there until
moving in 1976. Is it possible that someone may have photos of the old
station and the freight house that was on the north side of the tracks. I
plan on some day doing that area from Cass Ave. West past the old station in
H.O. Gauge. I have most of the rolling stock and am now trying to set the
layout up on scratch in order to see if I am missing anything in the area
that is why I am asking about the photos of the area that may help me.
I am more than willing to pay someone their cost for anything they
can do to help me get the basic layout on my scratch project correct as I
would like to get it as near to correct as possible the First time through.
Thank you for any help that you folks may be able to provide me with
as I get down to the nitty gritty of this thing.
