David - I lived in Sterling, CO from 1954 to 1961. Rode a midnight
passenger train from Sterling to Gillette, WY in summer of 1959 or 1960.
Hired out for the UP in 1961. Never did hear much about interchange at
Sidney, seemed most interchange was at Cheyenne thru the C&S.
Power in the late 50's out of Sterling was SD7/9's, thru trains with F's,
SD's and an occasional FT AB with SD's.
