Ok, This is a little of the CB&Q, but I hope to find out what's what.
I was told buy a guy that the BN & santa FE didn't really murge, that
the BN more or less Bought out the SF.
Also that the SF people didn't have as much say as the BN people?
Also, the newly added spur for Cargil at Eddyville IA, is for pulling
Syrup Cars etc,from there to Ottumwa, and that it is not going to be
to long and the BN will be in Cargil and not the UP.
Which sort-of goes along with the Big UP layoff.
If UP is sopose to be that big, why the layoff, and are they heading
for a sell out?
Also is the BNSF looking for people out of Galsburge?
what does one have to go through to become an Enginer?
