John, The aluminum hoppers were the exQ "silver side " hoppers the Q built. I can't remember if these were on one of the data sheets. I'll have to check this out as well as what you said about the Captain Mine. There is information on these cars and there operations to the Machens power plant in BB#35 on the coal fields.
