Looking through the Spoor and Holck books, you see that the Q bought two NW1 switchers from EMC (#9200 and #9201) and used them in Chicago. Their body style appears to be very similar to the six SW switchers (not SW1's) that the Q bought in 1937. Can anyone tell me more about the NW1's and SW's? I'd also like to know if there is a model of the NW1 (either plastic or brass) or is there a good starting point from which to kitbash an NW1? Thanks, Rich |
