decals

I was checking out the decal shop on the BRHS web-site the other day and
noticed that Champ also makes a set of decals for blackbird hood units. 
Has anyone used these decals and could anyone give me an indication of
what the gray for the nose stripes is like. I have a set of Mircoscales
and find them too dark. I was able to get one set of Kevin Piper's but
have maybe a half a dozen units to eventually do. Other advice on nose
stripes gratefully received.
