I have conducted research into Leslie air horns related to an ELHS project
for the unusual EL SD45, SDP45 and SD45-2 horns. Leslie had an extensive
designation for each of their many horn configurations. I'll try to
illuminate the reference above
S-2M-BO
S = "Supertyfon" S series horn
2 = number of tones or to be more specific, the number of "bells" in the horn
M = "Low profile base; two chime or "bell"
B = I cannot identify "B" as a Leslie code, if it were an R that was
misinterpreted, the "R" would indicate that the bells are reversed, that is,
one or more bells face rearward in the manifold.
O = Position of bells on bracket differs from standard horn arrangement.
