roger,
you can also order the town pages printed from one of 2 map
companies/dealers as i did when i owned a cafe in missouri to use for
decor. one is in florida and believe it is called dunnellton (sp?)
map company the other is in the republic of texas, austin or san
antonio. (can't recall their name, this is where i ordered from, nice
folk too...) you can find these companies advertising in treasure
hunting magazines, so next trip to the store look for one of the
magazines, one is called, of course, treasure, and brouse through and
get their phone number. then call them and tell them the town you are
looking for and they will tell you if they have a copy, and how many
pages are needed for the town. think back then, in the late 80's was
$5 per page... this will save you all the trouble of trying to find a
research library that has them, them trying to get copies made, as
their printers only print 8x11 sheets, trying to battle to check a
microfilm out, etc. the copies i received were very nice and clear,
could tell that the building i was in used to be a livery stable,
with several businesses above. this helped explain the large back
door with big arch above it <g> good luck
