Here are a couple of clarifications on my earlier convention reminder.
Clarification #1
An objection was raised when I said that we were in competition with the
BRHS for space. What I should have said is: You are in competition with
everyone receiving a registration packet. Fact: the registration packet is
being sent to around 3000 members of both groups. Fact: when accomodation
is made for car hosts, medical personel, senior BNSF executives and their
guests, less than 225 seats will be available for the Teague excursion.
The BNSF dispatch center trip is even more limited to only 150 people.
Fact: priority is being given to those paying for the "Full Meet" before
September 1st. Fact: after September 1st, priority is given to the
earliest registrations until all tickets are sold. Fact: we are only 11
weeks away from the convention.
Clarification #2
Checks for convention registration should be made out to "BRHS Convention."
Checks for train show tables should be made out to "Steve Goen."
