Can anybody (Mike Spoor) share how the converted troop sleepers that handled
the periodicals out of Kable Bros at Mt Morris were handled. Over the years
the "old timers" said the mtys went to Oregon on the Oregon Turn and then to
Mt Morris on the Oregon job.The loads came back on the w/f to Aurora and then
were cut off on the main and the Aurora engine tacked them onto a night dinky
for the trip to Chgo. How did the mtys get to Eola,Dinky to Aurora and then a
switch engine to Eola or a through frt s/o @ Eola? Did the loads of mags. get
treated as U.S. mail,express or LCL and then run through hse 1? Leo
