Tim & the BRHSlist,

As you can see, I've not had the time to answer this question. Will someone
on the list help?

Thanks,

Dave Lotz

Subject: Q Waycar help

Hi Dave:

One of my goals has been to obtain a model of a CB&Q waycar which would have
operated in the late 60's and into the merger.

Were the NE-1 still on the roster at this time? If so, even the side door
models?

I'm not familiar with the brass waycars which have been produced for the Q.
Several are available on ebay this week. Would you mind taking a look at
them and letting me know if they are 1 good, accurate models and 2 if they
would be correct for the period I mentioned.

the urls are:

http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=308742786
(LMB waycar in cascade green)

http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=311326474
(Signal House in Chinese Red with white on black herald)

http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=311338921
(Oriental NE-1 with side door in chinese red)

Or should I try to find one of the recently produced Challenger models?

Thanks so much for your advice Dave. I hate to buy brass without a good
idea
of what I am getting into.

Sincerely

Tim Costello
