It doesn't count as a book, but the October 1999 page of last year's BRHS 
calendar has an excellent photo of the Farwell depot with SD7 409 passing the 
depot. The caption doesn't list the date. The SD7 is in the red and gray 
paint scheme, and there's a mid-50s Dodge parked at the depot. There is an 
operator handing orders to the train crew.

Just as an aside, this is a scene I'd really like to reproduce on a model 
railroad someday.
