With so many of the locomotives being renumbered, the data showing the renumbering history was entered on just one line – the 1904 number -rather than repeatedly typing in all the data against each locomotive number.

For example, if you look at the first entry on the original spreadsheet, B&MR #1, it includes the notation “see 700 K-4” split over three columns. You then look at the 1904 line for 700 and that shows the full history including as B&MR #1.

Question for knowledgeable friends and BRHS volunteers:

In the BRHS web site's Members Only space, Steam Engine Roster (New), search results, under the 'Builder' heading there are a lot of records that show 'see' as the builder.
Does anyone know why, or what this referred to?  Should 'see' be removed and replaced with 'Unknown' or some other reference?

Trying to take a small step towards improving the quality of this roaster data, --- with help of you knowledgeable folks.
