Charlie - You're close, but not quite there. Clue number two, continue thinking "lignite." Best Regards - Louis

I am not sure what I am looking at but there seems to be something I’ve not seen before going on in the area of the Turret…..a hip roofed box of some sort.  The eccentric looks odd but it might be just the angle of the picture.

Going on the hint though it looks like  the drawbar failed and the tender is shoved up against the cab.   Failing that I don’t know if the engine is being treated to a load of something that burns as opposed to its specified diet of Lignite as I don’t know what that looked like…..

The conduit or pipe running vertically on the face of the tank behi nd the Lignite Square forward to the Water Leg is also unusual…..

Group - 4004 was easy. Now, "what's wrong" with Class O-1 No. 5030 shown (inserted/attached) on the ready track in Denver, CO, on August 20, 1938? All I can say is that appearances can be deceiving. For a clue, look at the tender:

I could say more, but that would spoil the fun. Best Regards - Louis
