>This reminds me of a safety poster... It showed two worried men pumping a handcar with a diesel tailgating them. One of them something like "Are you sure you checked the lineup? During my 41 year career I hit one track car (near Lariat, WY). Totally demolished it of course but luckily the track inspector got out before the crash. I almost hit a second one (at MP 804 between Hardin, MT and Anita) but the track inspector got out and flipped the car off the track and onto its side just seconds before we skidded past in emergency.
