During the 1904 re-alaignment of the Beardstown seniority district Beardstown 
engineers were taken off helper engines at Fulton (for Garden Plain Hill), and 
Barstow (Warner to Ophiem).  The "New Line" between Lass and Ebner was 
completed shortly after eliminating Garden Plain Hill.  Bud Linroth

Considering the territory the Q operated in. Was there a place on the system 
that required helpers regularly because of the grade? I don't think I've seen 
or read anything about this.
