[CBQ] Re: Pick-up / Drop-off in Oregon

The Oregon Turn was my favorite thing to do on Saturday.  I'd buy a round
trip ticket from Aurora to Oregon.  I would board at Aurora and spend the
entire day riding.  The Q had a shorty combine, 3003, that was used as the
caboose/passenger car.  The conductor was a family friend and when they ran
the 4960 on the Oregon Turn, I was a "regular passenger" traveling on a
regular R/T ticket.  The rail fans had to stay in their cars.  There were
only two of us in the 3003.
