CHICAGO, BURLINGTON & QUINCY IN COLOR VOL. 1, Michael J. Spoor, Moring Sun, 
1994, 128 pages. Hardcover book & dust jacket are in flawless MINT condition. 
This all color book focuses on the motive power and trains of the CBQ after 
World War II and into the early 1960's. This is the transition period when 
steam was being phased out and replaced by diesels. The book covers the "Lines 
East of the MIssouri River." and moves geographically from Chicago Union 
Station and culminates at Council Bluffs. Over 200 previously unpublished 
photos capture the character and spirit of steam in its final hours and the 
arrival of the first generation of diesels. Includes maps, freight schedules, 
etc. $39.95

BURLINGTON ROUTE Public System Passenger Time Table, November-December 1941, 40 
pages, in very good condition with minor age coloration. Nice full page color 
ad for the EXPOSITION FLYER and a full page announcement that the CBQ is
