John Deere Industrial Tractor Works @ Dubuque (blt in 1948) was served by Milw
but equip destined for CB&Q-served cities was interchanged in Dbq.
Plant now served by ICE.
Oliver - the former Hart-Parr (Charles City, IA) was served by Milw, RI & Iowa
Terminal (the former Charles City Western) until it's demise in the 1990's.
John Deere's Ankeny, IA works (cotton pickers, etc) blt/modified after WWII
from former ammo plant was served by C&NW now UP
The former Allis Chalmers Plow Works (originally LaCrosse Plow Works)@ LaCrosse
was served by Milw & Q; not sure about the big A-C plant in West Allis, WI
(C&NW or Milw). Closed in 1950's.
Gleaner (combines) later bought by A-C, was/is in Kansas, unsure of RR serving.
New Idea was at Cold Spring, OH (plant used by White for awhile after they took
over M-M, Oliver, etc)
Hesston (balers, small tractors, etc) in Hesston, KS
