Dan,
I do have a Kodachrome of it taken in 1978. It is more visible than it is now. 
If no one else has anything better I can dig it out in a couple of weeks.
You will have to remind me though...

Passing through Galena, IL this weekend I had not previously noticed the great 
Burlington Route travel billboard still faintly visable on the north side of a 
brick walled building on the east side of the main street. Would anyone have a 
photo of this wall when it was clearly visable?
