I see you posted a pic.  Very interesting in that it appear to be the same 
image on a different case.

Does yours have the double track and leaves as well as the trailing cars?

The finish of the case does not appear to have ever been plated either.

They both appear to be die-made as opposed to hand-engraved.

Now I wonder if this was an image that could be "stamped" onto any watch case? 
...kind of like the 51 cent penny machines that litter public attractions today.
