I saw the same advertisement on line today and said to myself, "No way, Jose!"
This evening I pulled out a copy of the BN Annual 1977-80 just to put my mind
at ease on the subject. I reference the entry for MP-15's found on page 188 of
that volume. The BN received(five) MP-15's from the Frisco BN #'s 4000-4004,;
SLSF #'s 361-365. Although the Frisco merge into the BN didn't occur until
late in 1980 the BN had already assigned #'s to the units in late 1979 based on
a proposal for renumbering the units once received. This volume shows no other
MP-15 units from the other "fallen flags" that had been previously incorporated
into the BN. A check through other BN Annual volumes I have shows no evidence
of any MP-15's.
Later, Dave S. Tucson, AZ
