[CBQ] 5632 trip in 1949 with dome car and streamlined passenger cars??

Hello, I have some photos of Q 5632 pulling a train of streamlined 
passenger cars.  There appear to be a total of about 12 cars.  A dome 
car is the third car in the consist.  They are identified 
as "Galesburg, June 1949".

This trip was obviously a special run, for crowds can be seen in 
several of the photos.  Can anyone supply more information about this 
run?  Was this an excursion, or perhaps the railroad was celebrating 
the inaguration of a new train?
