I recently picked up a brochure titled "A train takes its own picture" There
is no date on this brochure, which was put out the the Burlington. The
brochures opens up to a beautiful shot of #1592, 4-4-2 and a string of 9
cars.
The only reference on the back of the brochure is a notation that this is
train #1, which departs Chicago at "four o'clock" in the afternnoon arriving
in Denver at 6:30 PM the next day. The oldest TT I have is Nov 1902 and it
shows #1 leaving at 5:00 PM arriving at 6:20 PM.
Perhaps someone can better date this - Gerald Edgar, with all of your
knowledge, can you help?
