hmmmm.  3 replies and 3 "yeah, but this train/route would be 
better".  I think I see a pattern here.  Anyway, one thing could be a 
common denominator--the interior views could be homogenized to 
represent the typical post war Zephyr.  Likewise the scenery could be 
a mix of Colorado/Iowa/Minnesota/Texas/Missouri.  If the period was 
right, I don't think many people would insist that every speck of the 
landscape look exactly like a particular route.
