BN 972558 (CB&Q Rotary Plow)

The news about the Lincoln based rotary (BN 972558) was true and the 
fate of the plow is not good. The main bearing on the blade dropped 
causing the blades to shred the housing and sending the blades 
approximately 150 to 200 yards in the adjoining farmer's fields. The 
BNSF officials determined the repair costs would be too high to
repair 
the unit and it will most likely be scrapped at Northtown.
