Jeff, unless I'm much mistaken, the USRA cars had a pressed hat section for the truss, whereas the XM-25/26 and most other single sheathed cars had a Zee for the truss. The tichy kit is nice, really

Jeff - There is a BRHS data sheet for these cars. In that data sheet, a picture of a modified Accurail car shows that they can be made into a very good representation of the prototype cars. Jerry Ham
