- Hi, I was talking to a kid in the neighborhood about trains and he asked me a question I couldn’t answer. Why are so many train station in the US named Union Station? Can anybody help me out? T

- Union Stations were typically stations served by multiple railroads. Example is the Basic City train station (became Waynesboro) in Virginia. it was a Union Station as it served both N&W and C&O, yet
