Leo, The only information that I can add is from my All time fan trip list. The trip was powered by 2-6-2 no. 2118. The train had 9 cars including heavyweight observation car no. 206. The route was C

Leo, Further to my earlier note, here are two photos of the heavyweight observation, also taken on the June, 1941 fan trip. The first was taken at Mendota and the second was at Bailey Falls, IL (?).

Thanks Bill, Given the info and photos you shared I can add the following. Bailey Falls doesnt come up in my late 1800s or early 1900 ETTs but a google search confirmed my guess. It is a creek near T

For years, Bailey Falls drew crowds of people that matched any of our local State Parks. This was from 1909. The trestle would be downstream. This is Bull Rush trestle under construction. REW _._,_._
