- Never heard of Merle Jct., Giles, Togo or the Dirty Side, but Clarion IL is about 5 miles southwest of Mendota in the northeast corner of Bureau County. It is shown in the DeLorme Illinois Atlas & Ga

- Back in the early 1970's I used to work in Dixon for a company whose main plant is in Aurora, so I drove US30 many times, along the C&I from Shabbonna to Aurora. Always wondered where the town names
