Glen I think you need to talk to Ed DeRouin and make it into a Bulletin at least an article. From what I have found the Q used there own design for the bridges and I have even found where there were

I remember seeing the cantilever signal in Berwyn,IL. It only held one signal facing west on the westbound track. It was removed several years ago but I think the foundation is still in place. Ryan G

Ryan and others That signal was the first westward signal west of LaVergne at MP9.57 and was used to protect the hand throw switch at the east end of Congress Park. Often called a starting signal it
