All,

Bryan is correct.  We are working on collecting additional material for the Denver Shops issue.

We are slowly working through getting all of the out of print Bulletins available once again. The Society ran a poll this past spring to determine which issues had the highest interest and that was used to determine the order in which to work on the reprints. 283 BRHS members responded to the poll with #5 on the Denver Shops and #8 on Railway Mail Service on the Q tying for the most votes. #5 issue is currently being worked on for the next reprint and I believe additional content is being added to it as well. Watch for that in the next few months. Beyond that, #17 on Office Cars was next with #20 on Covered Hoppers actually coming in last out of the 7 issues to choose from. The Society is only reprinting 1 to 2 per year, but we are planning on getting to them all.

You brought up a great point. For certain that BRHS Bulletin #20 on CB&Q covered hoppers is totally comprehensive on the hopper fleet. With the recent production of the Intermountain 1958 cf HC-1 Burlington and C&S hoppers it would be ideal to have that Bulletin available to modelers.

The same can be said for the comprehensive treatise on Burlington business cars, Bulletin #17. This issue has also been out of stock for quite awhile. Again, with the production of CB&Q business cars by North Bank Line that are to be delivered by years’s end (The stainless steel sheathed rebuilt heavyweight Roundup and two versions of the heavyweight #100, the original 1950’s silver shadow lined version and the 1969 solid silver version) it would be interesting for modelers to have the Bulletin on these cars.

I for one have been unsuccessful in finding a Bulletin #17 and would desperately like to have that edition.

Brass importers North Bank Line is currently planning on producing several additional runs of business cars with the potential to produce additional CB&Q cars.

In the past the BRHS would reprint Bulletin issues that were out of stock that had a high demand from members. Is there a possibility that Bulletins #17 and #20 will,be reprinted in the near future?

Thanks- Dennis Popish
