I have a question that is slightly off-topic.  In the second black & white 
picture, the picture of CBQ 4106 and the roundhouse crew, why is it safe for 
the crew to climb onto the steam locomotive like that?  Aside from falls, etc, 
isn’t the boiler hot?  Really hot?  Or is the outset shell insulated from the 
boiler?
