I would say the depot is not Q, as not only does it not look at all familiar, but the station platform is large stone pavers, not the brick pavers laid in a herringbone pattern that were standard on the Q.  As for the T-2, they were assigned to Alliance for quite some time but always operated west or south of that city, not to the east.  The only reason one would be in Ellsworth is if it was going to or from the Havelock shops.  This is an early photo of 4104, taken before the early 1920s, and it may well have been still assigned to the Sheridan Division and operating between Sheridan and Gillette, in which case the scene of the photo could be Arvada, Wyo.

Wondering if anyone recognizes this depot.  The lady who owns the photo thought it was in Alliance, NE.  I don't think the Alliance depot had a peaked roof line.  I''m not even sure if it is a CB&Q structure.  She also has a photo of CB&Q 4104 and thought the photo may have been taken in Ellsworth, NE.  Was this locomotive ever assigned to western Nebraska?

Thanks,

Brian
