Archie: I saw your message about the Cosgrove Turn. I'm just curious, did this train regularly go to Elsberry, or switch the cement plant at Dundee? The Operating Data Sheets book published by the BRHS shows a Cosgrove Turn Trains #690-691 operating between Hannibal and Louisiana or Elsberry. Since the plant at Cosgrove was so busy, I can imagine that this train spent practically all of it's time there, but was curious how often you may have gone south of there. As a side note, I think Darrel Sanders told me he was the regular engineer on this train before he retired.
