Eric, The BRHS Flickr collection in the members only section has a number of photos of cars being used as buildings. Attached are a few samples. Not all of them were wood cars. Look in the Structures

There used to be a passenger car body as a bar/grill a little ways north of Mule Creek Jct., Wyo. on US highway 85. It gradually deteriorated until one deadhead trip it just wasn't there anymore. The
