Hi folks, In 1897 the CB&Q installed a US&S interlocking to control the drawbridge over the Mississippi River. Does anyone know which side (Iowa/Illinois) the controls were located? Thanks, Peter [No

Peter, The bridge tender building is on the Iowa side and it is a double track swing span not a draw bridge. There is 2 70' plate girder bridges from the west bank and then the 356 1/2' swing span an
