Well back in CB&Q it was the Milwaukee Road, not Soo Line until 1985 (CB&Q now BN). Both yards are still in heavy used today. The interchange is Grand Crossing. Also the CNW and GB&W used to cross th

SOO did not interchange to the "Q" except at Chicago (via the Belt Railway of Chicago, and perhaps the Indiana Harbor Belt) and at the Twin Cities. Green Bay & Western interchanged at East Winona. Ro
