- I’m trying to find out the origin and fate of the two waycars – A51 and A53 - owned by the Chicago, Fort Madison & Des Moines. I think that they were built in 1892-3, possibly by Mt Verno

- Fred Thanks very much for looking. It’s interesting that the company was not listed in the ORER by August 1892, as that was nearly 12 months after it was converted from narrow gauge. The CFtM&D
