ErikI would guess that the herald is original to the tender and the painter masked it over when applying the MOW paint. It looks too weathered to have been a fresh stock decal/applique when converted

Brian, While most Q tenders that were repurposed in MOW service did not include the Q logo, there were exceptions. There is a photo of another Q tender in MOW service in the Flickr gallery in the mem

Timely question as I am painting a Brass Tender kit (in MOW Orange) to practice my soldering skills before I try a loco . It seems strange that they did not put a company logo on most of the tenders
