Can anyone tell me how the Burlington numbered the various yard jobs? I see where locals would have a 500 or 600 series train number but I have no idea how different yard jobs would have been numbere

Dwight, At the Aurora/Eola terminal yard jobs were numbered as follows: Switch 1,Switch2,switch 3 etc, As you would assume day shift were the first #s and they went higher from there. I seem to recal
