This is the baggage cart that the Dover Museum has at the Pilot Grove depot. All of the wood was replaced when it was restored. We need to know what color the wood should be painted. Thank you. Ken V

This is what I remember - the carts were a dark green, possibly the Bronze Green used on the depot trim.  Could the color have been specified by the Railway Express Agency?  I have used a Testors Dar

The friend that is going to paint the cart is a retired CB&Q/BN/BNSF employee and he will get the appropriate color at Menards. Thank you everyone for your help. The cart will also have sealer put on

As I recall it was the same dark green as the REA sign. I once got scolded by Tim McIntyre the CRI&P Agent in Ottawa for sitting on a baggage cart and popping the bubbles and peeling the paint around
