- Tim At most locations with coal chutes like this one they were just shoved up by an engine...maybe hanging onto enough cars so that the engi;ne wouldn't have to go on the "trestlework"..I think also

- There is a picture on P18 of "Burlington in Transition" showing an 0-6-0 on the ramp at Wymore, Neb. As far as I know that was the standard way of getting cars up the ramp. Ken Martin -- Yahoo! Group
