- My guess would be Wabash. Q's 4-8-4s were all numbered 5600 - 5635, IC never had a 4-8-4 that I know of and Illinois Traction was an interurban electric RR which had no steam locomotives. I can't rem

- Bill, The Illinois Terminal did have steam locomotives. Not all of their trackage in the East St Louis area was electrified. Nothing bigger than a 2-8-2 though.

- I don't think IT stands for "Illinois Traction". I believe it's "Illinois Terminal". There is also an "Iowa Terminal", but I seriously doubt they had any such equipment. lol -Val
