For what it's worth, Del Grosso's Burlington Northern Railroad Cabooses, 1970-1995 indicates CB&Q 13593 was built in 2/1964 and became Burlington Northern 10179.

Greetings: The windows and end railings are the key identification details for a genuine NE13.  The first group, 13590-13639, also had a unique roof arrangement; an overhanging Stanray roof on the main car body and a recessed roof on the cupola.  The rectangular end windows on the cupola were also unique to the Q.  As an example check the details of the enclosed attachments of MRL cars.  The relatively stock car is ex-FW&D and used for local switching in Billings, MT. The other is a receiver for remote operation switching in the Laurel, MT yard   Your shot of the 13593 is the real deal, it just needed a repaint!  Jim Sandrin
