I would think it almost had to be used as a switch engine because of its very limited coal supply.

Hol,  Thankls for the information.  Do you think I would be wrong to use a model as a switch engine in the Hannibal Yard circa 1864?

CB&Q 93 and 94 were identical 4-4-0 Tank engines built by Rogers Locomotive & Machines Works of Paterson, N.J. in November 1863, construction numbers 431 and 434.  They were not particularly successful, and another locomotive numbered 94 replaced this first one in 1876 (and a new 93 was built in company shops in 1878).  What happened to the two tank engines is not known, but they were likely sold to another road.

A member of the ACW Model Railroad forum posted the following link:  http://www.rypn.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=36715  It is a photo of CB&Q engine #94 built by Rodgers Locomotive works of Patterson NJ.

Anyone have any definative information of this loco?
