Sad indeed.
Rob has been a fixture at train shows going back to the Little Q swaps in the late sixties and early seventies, Prototype Modeler and the Burlington Route Historical Society Meets.
Mod-U-Trak is an enduring HO modular institution that inspired better modeling for all those who see it....and it provided a blueprint for high caliber modeling in N Scale.
Because of his role in creating what is surely the most successful HO modular concept Rob touched many that he was probably not aware of. His later introduction of Pan Pastels to the Model Railroading impacted an even larger segment of the Hobby and advanced the state of the art.
Deepest condolences to Pam and the rest of his family and the entire ModUTrak fraternity.
